Meet the WriterGals – An Open House Event
Communications Professional Network Holds Get to Know You Events
March 22 in Santa Fe and March 30 in Albuquerque

Santa Fe/Albuquerque, NM: The WriterGals, a network of New Mexico-based writers, editors, graphic designers and Web developers, is growing and wants you! Two open house, get-to-know-us events will be held – one in Santa Fe and the other in Albuquerque – as a way for potential new members to learn about the organization, and discover whether it could help them with their own independent businesses.

“The more than 40 members of WriterGals are based around the state and meet regularly to share ideas, advice, project leads and professional support,” says WriterGal administrator Emily Esterson. “The evening’s program includes a mix/mingle with current WriterGal members, a short presentation about what WriterGals is and does, and a Q&A to answer everyone’s questions. And there will be snacks!”

The Santa Fe event will take place March 22, at 6 p.m. at the Railyard Park Community Room, Callejon Street (behind SITE Santa Fe). For directions, visit The Albuquerque date is March 30, 6 p.m. at The Source, 3536 Anderson SE.

RSVP to [email protected] by March 15, 2016. Please let us know which event you wish to attend.

Potential new members should have a minimum of five years of professional experience in your field, not be employed full time by any single company; and can verify that her primary source of income comes (or will come if a newly independent professional) from providing creative communications services.
