Proofreaders and editors - you know the types.  They're the people who get physically uncomfortable when they see misspelled words, can't help but talk back to the radio when the DJ says "irregardless" and can't make it through the morning paper without mumbling some disparaging remark about the state of publishing today.  They've given Lynne Truss' EATS, SHOOTS & LEAVES to at least three friends outright and to a boss anonymously, and they - okay, we - can be annoying at times.

But the whole world needs a proofreader, and half the world needs an editor.  

I combine many years of professional experience at proofreading and editing with my love of publishing to offer a broad range of services to writers who are ready to put their work into its final form, be it a book, screenplay, article, newsletter, thesis, advertisement or legal brief.  And I have a soft spot for self-publishers, having been through the self-publishing process myself from idea to book to bookstore shelves and on to a national publishing award.
