Hey Gals - The proofing office here at the Legislative Council Service has two openings for the winter's legislative session.  If you want further info on the job, send me an email (k.d@earthlink.net).  The basics:  you have to take (and excel on) the proofing test, which will be given in a couple weeks, and if you're hired, you'd start work the first week of November and finish up when the legislative session ends in mid-March.  Yes, it's in Santa Fe, and yes, it can be rough at times, but basically it's a very good

For you wordplay types out there who want a good laugh, try playing around with Google Scribe, Google's new autocomplete service. You start typing and then the service will autocomplete your thought based on models of most frequently used words and phrases. Try well know intros like "Fourscore and seven years ago..." Or go with something mundane like "I like to..." It autocompleted that with: "I like to play with the big dogs in the world."
